My grandmother was a Callaway as are all of my relatives in Missouri. I found my family in the 1880 and 1900 census for Missouri and want to know more about this organization. I have extensive information on the family and their trek from the east coast (KY) to Missouri as well as links to the Daniel Boone family.
Want to know more about the Callaway family history if anyone can help me, just e-mail me with any information you may have.

Found site while checking links to articles I wrote. Greetings! Paternal GF Walter Callaway's name was misspelled Calloway on ID card when he joined railroad in early 1900s, and it stuck. Father is Leonard Calloway, 90, who is cousin of W. Hearn C. in Aston PA. His son is Paul C., proud father of 3 Eagle Scouts, and I'm proud f. of Elliot C., soon also to be Eagle Scout, and Jeanne C., now at U. of Otago in Dunedin, NZ, returning soon to Mt. Nice and interesting. My great grandmother was Dora Elizabeth Callaway, going back to Peter and Elizabeth in 1600's in Somerset Co., Md.
My Great Grandfather was Travis Callaway. He was listed in your census records in Pottawatomie County in Oklahoma. My Grandfather says we can trace our roots back to at least the time of Daniel Boone. I was told that he married a Callaway.

This is a great website! I was able to find my great grandparents, James George and Annie Callaway on the 1900 Census info with birthdates. If anyone happens to have any other info it would be appreciated. He was born in Eugene, Oregon July 1968 and died 11/26/31 in Price, Utah.

My great grandmother was Eugenia Callaway. She is listed on the fan chart that is available at the Callaway Plantation in Washington, GA. She married Matthew DeKalb (Mac) Cofer and had two children; Walter, married Josie Hampton about 1890 and Lucy Ann who married William Thomas Porterfield. I have recently discovered her when she was voted into membership in Beaver Dam Baptist Church minutes in 1856 and when she left in 1861. I am trying to find her burial plot. Her husband is buried in Beaver Dam church Cemetery along side his second wife, Georgette.
