RELEASE 2.22 of the Callaway Family Association Research Database CD is now available.

Using the search program on the CD that was custom written for CFA you can . . .

View and search a database of The UNITED STATES CENSUS records extracted for the various spellings of the family name Callaway for the years 1790 to 1930. (all spellings changed to be Callaway) AND

View and search a database of the first 600 FAMILY GROUP CHARTS simultaneously.

Read a synopsis of each CFA Journal's content.

View over 60 .JPG photographs of CFA members, friends and ancestors.

Using the Adobe Acrobat Reader program that is included on the CD you can . . .

View and search the 1790-1930 Callaway Census Records (in original spellings) in Adobe Acrobat format.

View and search the COMPLETE TEXT OF EACH CFA JOURNAL (1976-2005) in Adobe Acrobat format. (some don't have the pictures yet)

View the booklets written by Sherrill Williams, CFA Genealogist, on the descendants of Joseph and Peter Callaway in Adobe Acrobat format.

View Family Tree Charts of Joseph and Peter in Adobe Acrobat format.

Using your wordprocessor you can . . .

View and search the indices for The CFA Journals 1976-1987 and 2002 in .RTF format.

Using the commercial software package, Family Tree Maker, you can . . .

Open and view the early Joseph and Peter lines in .FTW Family Tree Maker format.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, the search program that was custom written for CFA, searches these files automatically.

By entering names and dates much valuable data about a person can be found allowing the computer to do the 'dog' work of searching most of the CFA Research Data automatically.

The CD is compatible with all Microsoft Windows editions 95/98/ME/XP and operates on IBM compatible computers.

FOR A LIMITED TIME, AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE, WE ARE INCLUDING A SECOND CD THAT CONTAINS VIDEO CLIPS FROM MANY OF THE ANNUAL MEETINGS.

NOTE:
To view the Adobe files you must install the Adobe Acrobat Reader (included on the CD), unless it is already installed on your system. To view the Family Tree Maker files you must purchase that program and install it.
