Would appreciate any info on Francis Willis Callaway family in 1860. They are not on the 1860 census for any state as published by the CFA. They appear in 1850 and 1870 in Dewitt Co., Tex. 1870 census shows wife Mary Woods as HEA due to remarried to H. G. Woods in 1867 after F.W. died in 1866 and H.G. Woods died in 1869.

Ga. d. Montalbo, Tx. Journals can be ordered from website -- are in most large city libraries. Married twice lst wife was Georgia Ann Jackson - had 8 chil. 2nd wife was Florence Palmer - two children.

Stevie Eli Keith Sr. is one of the cornerstone Keiths in Texas. He married Dora Lena Jones (1871-1917). Dora was the daughter of Alford Mason Jones (1840-1922) and Ada Milner Callaway (1842-1887). Connecting to the Keiths would provide a wealth of history ... 1755 VA.Quakers, Texas Land Grants, Comanchee Indians, Beaumont lumber king, Olga marries founder of ESSO-ExxonMobil, Keith-Southerland dies at Alamo and uncle is the first to cry "Remember the Alamo" as they charge across the SanJancinto battle field to establish Texas, mostly farmers with strong Christian heritage ...
